Odd jobs

Right now, there is a person out there, getting ready to go to work, by lotioning her hands and getting a manicure. She is a hand model. I’m sure there is more to it, but she just sits there as someone takes pictures of her hands.

Someone else is getting his energy right so he can do a psychic reading for a dog. Someone else is prepping an outfit to head to an awards show to fill celebrities’ seats when they need to step away at awards shows. And someone else will go to hair and makeup to walk in the background of a movie scene.

All of it is paid work. But more importantly, the work exists because there’s a need for it. People want it and are willing to pay for it. It is time for you to think bigger.

When I talk about marketing, I talk about the way in which you identify and meet the needs of the market. Your problem is that you’ve limited what you think is a need.

As you think about your next great idea, think about the little problems that you wish were solved. Think about how you can be the solution to your own headache, to the little pain points you’ve noticed.

What problems have you noticed that you could provide the solution for, no matter how small or far out it maybe be?

What are your favorite side-hustle ideas?
