To go back in time

I wish I could travel back just a mere 12 hours, to start again. I wish I had spent this day better, more keenly directing every action towards my goals. But I haven’t. I did this thing and that thing, but not the thing.

If I were to start the day again, here’s what I’d do.

I’d make a schedule. I would create a list of priorities. I’d create a clear plan for the day. I would decide ahead of time how I would use my energy, instead of waiting for things to happen.

Luckily for me, I have the chance to start again. Tomorrow is another day, a gift to begin anew. So now, I will sit and make a schedule, I’ll make that list of priorities, I will plan, and I will decide.

I don’t need to waste time wishing I had redo. It’s already mine. I just have to choose to take the opportunity and use it well.

  1. Don’t we all? I wish I did not use a hurtful word for the one I love. But I’ve got a mercurial speed temper. Those who love me understand that.
