I sprayed French Leather from Memo Paris on to my wrist and braced myself. I expected leather, a scent that would not at all go well in this summer heat. That is a reasonable expectation based on the name. However, the fragrance is more nuanced. It is lighter, more floral. Dare I say, pretty. If this is what leather smells like in France, then definitely count me in for one of their handbags.
Because I expected something heavy, I didn’t spray much on. For that reason I can’t give an accurate assessment of the projection. What I can say is today I sprayed the fragrance on 5 hours ago. It’s still present on my skin.
I would classify this fragrance as more feminine leaning. Maybe more formal. Picturing myself wearing this, I imagine myself wearing this with a button down and my hair pulled back into a ponytail.
This fragrance may be for you if you like your rose scents. Fingers crossed that this scent is part of their upcoming bodycare line.
