I don’t know why I didn’t know this before: Drake has a line of fragrances. Yes, that guy, Champagne Papi who had a rough couple of years following is battle with Kendrick Lamar. He’s got fragrances and candles.
It’s called Better World Fragrance House by Drake. Prices range from $54 to $84 for candles and from $38 to $152 for the perfumes. The scent profile that captured my attention is Cloudar, a woody aromatic. It has a fruity spicy top with notes of ginger, mandarin, and pear. It is then rounded out by the woody base note of Cedar. I must admit that I have not tried it yet, but it is available in Ulta stores, in addition to the Better World site. Maybe it’s time I head out to local Ulta to smell it myself.

Besides my hesitancy with the spherical packaging, I’m not sure if this is something I would invest in. I think the real question is whether I would be able to appreciate the scent on its own merit, or would I be clouded by my perception of the rapper. I don’t know. But regardless of your feelings about Drake, maybe this is something you should also look into. If you are looking for fragrances that feature ginger prominently, consider Cloudar, and then let me know what you think.
