I try a lot of skincare products. Often, that means that I need to find some products for my routine that won’t compete with the active ingredients I’m testing out. So, when it comes to eye creams, I need something basic, just enough to do the job of providing moisture, but not trying to do too much more. In comes the Auracle Eye Serum from Dieux.

Now, in Dieux’s defense, they promote the product as a hydrating and smoothing serum by way of the algae based ingredients, glycerin, and a tripeptide complex. It should hydrate the skin, leading to less puffiness and dark circles over time.

Even though, I’m essentially telling you that this is just a basic eye cream, I say that to tell you that I would repurchase it, for that very reason. I like that it doesn’t have retinol, vitamin c, or other strong actives. That helps me get a better baseline on how the other variables I’m adding in to my routine are affecting my under eye area.

The Auracle Eye Serum provides me with a little bit of moisture so I don’t have to worry about dry skin in my sensitive undereye area. And you know what, I think that’s enough. Now, here’s one other thing that I like that the brand has done.

While I went to pull information about this product, I noticed the brand posted a video answering how many pumps are in the bottle.

I sat there and watched, thoroughly invested because I wanted to know, too. And because of how it’s done, it is a lighthearted way of telling customers, “This is how much value you are getting from this product.” You know before you add to cart just how many days of use you’ll get and can more confidently make the investment.

I don’t know much about this brand, but I’m curious now to learn more. For starters, what would happen if I were to use the serum more consistently, instead of just here and there? And what would change once I add the Forever Eye Patches to the mix? I don’t know yet, but I am willing to try and find out.
