A quick visit to Charles Street

My next stop on my walking tour through Boston was Charles Street. It is a beautiful walkable area in the Beacon Hill neighborhood. I was heading that way to check out Credo Beauty, but I decided to keep strolling to see what I’d find. Here are just two of the standouts that caught my attention.

Beacon Hill Books & Café

There was the little bookshop with a quant little café. I walked up through the tight space that resembled more of a book lovers home. I miss the discoveries that happen when shopping for books in person. Then, I went back down the stairs to visit the café. I got a ginger lemonade, a refreshing treat for a late summer day.

Nantasket Sweets

And because I, too, have been swept up in the Swedish candy craze, I made sure to stop into the delightful little shop. The owner was there to tell me more about the story of the new location and provide some samples. I chose to get a premade sampler.

There were many more shops and restaurants to discover. (I’m looking forward to the opening of the Sisley Paris location, as a skincare lover.) If you want to learn more, check out this post from Explore Boston.
