Dior launched their Dior Addict glow fragrances a few months ago. I am a sucker for a fragrance launch, but for some reason I waited only until now to smell and test these out. Here’s what I thought.
The drop included three fragrances: Peachy Glow, Purple Glow, and Rosy Glow.

Notes: Juicy peach accord, Jasmine absolute, vanilla whipped cream accord

Coral first smelled peachy, but with a tinge of artificial. Purple has a scent that I can’t place smelling it on my skin. I’m not really getting the notes as they described them. These don’t smell good on my skin, or on paper for that matter. It is probably for the best that feels like they faded so quick on my skin and had zero projection for my skin type. I’m not even going to try and track down and try Rosy Glow. In addition to just not liking the scents, I don’t think these are not for me.
I, a grown woman, who enjoys fragrances am perhaps too mature for this. That makes it sound like I am a self-assured 50 year old woman, when instead I’m just someone who is now required by the government to file taxes. I am not a child. That doesn’t mean that I think you’re childish if you like these. In fact, if you do like them, please let me know what they smell like on you. What I will say, however, is that it is quite clear from the marketing that they are going for a youthful offering, to ensure their fragrance assortment covers all the age ranges with disposable income.
In contrast, the Dior Addict seems more like my speed. Maybe that’s one I should try next.
