As I reviewed my list of hotels I want to visit, I noticed something. When I’m thinking about where I want to travel, I typically think of the U.S. and Europe. Add to that, I don’t think I have come up with a hotel that is a must-see for me based in Africa. Today, I’ll change that, because I want to visit Sussurro.
The oft-awarded luxury stay is based in Mozambique, tucked away for supreme relaxation.
Bring me connection to nature, fine dining, and all the amenities.
I did a quick check of the rates. If I get myself together and head out now, in August, I could stay there for just about $4000 for a double occupancy. If I were to wait, the prices would more than double. So even though it would be fiscally and generally irresponsible to pack up and leave right now, I am intrigued.
