A Wren Says

Really quickly, this is about the St. Barts Hair and Body Mist from Ouai. I don’t know how I feel about it.

Scent: For my nose it doesn’t have a placeable scent. I didn’t know what I was smelling when I first sprayed it. But as I used it throughout the week, I got used to it. It by no means a favorite scent, but I’m okay with it now. And it might be my imagination, but I think it became more powdery as the day wore on.

Longevity: It faded from my skin in just a few hours. To be fair, the brand adds in the project description that you should spritz this whenever you need a ouai-cation. I guess they even recognize this isn’t long lasting.

Projection: I’m not sure on the projection. No one seemed to noticed, but I didn’t mind that.

Final thoughts: If I were to find a way to wear this, I would just place this scent into maybe a shower gel. Maybe the heat of the shower would transform it and make the notes stand out. Sometimes there are scents that you might want to experience for short periods of time. But when it comes to being around other people, emitting the particular smell, that changes things. I’ll continue to use up this body mist to see if my opinion changes. But until then, maybe I should look into trying Melrose Place instead.
