A Wren Says

I have been sitting here for sometime now trying to will myself to write something, anything on a topic that seems appropriate. And yet I can’t No amount of scrolling looking through fashion news and the new beauty arrivals has solved it. I am still just sitting here. So, like any poor communicator, I am just going to fill the void with some words. Here are some of my fashion and beauty hot takes:

• There is a wrong way to dress depending on the outcomes you want to achieve.
• Too many people assume clothing brands run small when just reading the size chart would help them find their appropriate size.
• Handmade crafts should cost more, because we should pay humans for their labor.
• Better packaging is an appropriate justification for higher prices.
• Just because something is expensive doesn’t mean it should be indestructible.
• Fashion shows should reviewed with the same care as we view art exhibits.
• If you have to buy a matching set to make a piece of clothing work in your wardrobe, it doesn’t work in your wardrobe.
