The scent of Forest & Soul

With a name like Forest & Soul, I know what you might expect. Something green, maybe mossy, maybe wet, or at the very least “spiritual”. However, that isn’t exactly what this scent from Daniel’s Truth gives me.

It has a quality that is more substantially floral than it is verdant. Maybe at the center of this forest is a large flowering plant, wet with dew and imparting the area with its scent. And just like being amongst the trees, it’s calming.

I dabbed this fragrance oil on my neck and wrists and went out to a couple of conferences. Amidst the crowds of people, no one seemed to notice. Truth be told, I don’t think I get very good longevity or projection with this oil. But someone did tell me she liked my energy. I’d like to think that was all me, but maybe it was the power of my scent.

There is something about this that I like smelling on myself. I can wear it out to work, to meet up with friends, or just sitting to read a book at home It is the type of floral that isn’t too feminine, too overpowering, too mature. It feels closer to me.

If you like “marine” or aquatic scents and florals, this might be a good crossover for you. And if you have been trying to stay away from alcohol-based fragrances, this perfume oil might be a good option for you.
