You’ve been sitting there, politely in a box, waiting for your moment. You were created to bring beauty to this world, and I’ve kept you hidden, covered, unused. You haven’t had the opportunity to share your gifts. And for that I apologize.

I have been too busy, waiting for just the right opportunity. You know, the one that doesn’t exist. Surely this ordinary time is not quite right. I figured that there had to be a better moment than this. But of course I was wrong. This was the best moment. It’s the only moment. It’s time to let you shine.

Maybe you have a gift, just like that candle. Maybe it’s one that you’ve kept on the shelf for far too long. You’ve been telling yourself that now isn’t the time. You’ve been telling yourself that you’ll get around to it later when the conditions are right. You’ve been telling yourself lies.

There will never be a better moment than this one to use your gifts. Even in the job you have now, this family situation you find yourself in, and this exact location, your time is now. There will never be a better time for you to shine your light.
