For better or more likely worse, I’ve been following the most recent celebrity court proceedings. While this is truthfully not at all relevant to my life, I have learned one key lesson. Be careful what you write.
Yes, your wording in your major campaigns is run through with a fine-tooth comb checking to see how it will test with various audiences. And of course, your pictures have a team of experts shaping how your images will come across. But know this: Everything you write, from your emails to your text messages, form a representation of your brand. The same care you take into building your image is the same care you should take in living out that image.
I could dive deeper in to the celebrity drama, but I think that is enough. Just remember that however you want your brand to be perceived is how the representatives of that brand should behave.
