A new release for the Sephora kids

If you remember the hysteria of the Sephora 12 year-olds, you will recall how the focus was on how they were using products like Drunk Elephant. Beyond the ways they tore up the stores, the real fear was that all of those actives were way too much for their young skin. So now, take the fun colors they loved from that brand and age appropriate ingredients and you get Evereden.

This kid-friendly brand is now available online at Sephora and presumably in some stores. Sephora carries moisturizer and face wash, acne products, fragrance, and hair care from the line. However, the brand website includes more of each category along with some starter makeup for young kids to play with.

Not having used the products yet, of course, I think this could be a great first product for youngsters who want to get into skincare. The only issue is that it may not be cool enough for them. The ingredients may be great, but how will it help them fit into their peer group if their friends are not also using the same products? To help with that Evereden does have an ambassadors program with young creators and family accounts talking up the line.. Time will tell how that plays into building interest in the line.

I would imagine that I may never have these products show up on my for you page. But have you heard of them? If so, would you have your child or teen try these instead of the typical drugstore favorites?
