The same story plays over and over and over. Worse than the sequel fever in the movie theaters is the borrowed plot in the real world. At times it feels like this is a simulation. There is no way it is happening again. But it is. It’s happening on repeat.
There are days where I bury myself in a scroll on social media, hoping to find some good news, even it’s just a quick chuckle at a beaver eating cabbage. Anything would do when I want an escape for reality. But it’s not really an escape if you’re still there.
But if I can’t find it the world, I will just have to create it. I will bring the originality. I will bring the joy that I’ve been seeking. I will be the good news. I will be the light in this repeating cycle of darkness.
