Philadelphia Cream Cheese is ready to change your cocktail hour

It’s cocktail hour. You go up to order your favorite, a dirty martini. As you carry it away, you take a sip, enjoying the salty brine, except… Why does there have to be that pungent blue cheese in there?

Or at least this is the experience Philadelphia Cream Cheese is banking on. And if so, they have a solution for you: the Philly-tini olive.

Produced in partnership with Divina Market, these olives are stuffed with Philadelphia Cream Cheese and sold in a two pack for $15. They are available for purchase via the Divina Market website. Granted, unless you can convince your local bar or restaurant to order and stock these, these cream cheese filled bites will be most likely for your personal bar or party needs.

The goal with that project was to spark joy. Unlike their line of “Is it Cake” themed cheesecake recipe kits , this innovation seems a more practical push to fill a hole in the market. Much less gimmicky, I wonder if it has the staying power to remain beyond a limited edition run. Divina has already posted a video turning the product into an air-fried snack.

Maybe this product catches on among the olive enthusiasts. Maybe it’s the gateway for more food collaborations along the way. But what do you think? Would you add a Philly-tini olive to your next cocktail?
