Are you a wipes traveler?

There’s a video of Naomi Campbell going through the airport preparing for her flight. Even before the rise in germ awareness, she was disinfecting every surface she would touch on the plane. Then there are people who enter their hotel and do the same, wiping down everything. Some even bring their own sheets and towels just to be safe. To many, that seems like overkill. They are doing way too much. But now, after having been forced to pay more attention after a recent hotel stay, I think they have just seen some things.

I am thinking now about what type of traveler I want to be. Am I going to join the disinfectant crew, wiping down the remote control when I get to the room? Am I going to switch to wearing shower shoes? Will I bring my own sheets?

One the one hand, I want to take the precautions to take care of my own health. On the other I want to feel like I can trust the establishments that I am paying to provide me a good experience.

What kind of traveler are you? Where are you on the scale of meticulous disinfector and carefree walking barefoot on hotel floors?
