I will probably never smell this fragrance, because it’s for dogs

I know this now, so you have to know it, too. Dolce and Gabanna make a fragrance for dogs. It has notes of sandalwood, musk, and ylang ylang. It was inspired by and named after Domenico Dolce’s dog Fefé. I know, you probably think this seems ridiculous. But hear me out.

Fefé Fragrance Mist for Dogs

$99 for 3.3 oz

Notes: Musk, ylang ylang, sandalwood

I watch far too many dog grooming videos. They tend to end with a spritz of a fragrance to emphasize the dog’s freshly cleaned coat. If groomers are already using fragrances, why not provide a high-end version for the high-end clients? It would definitely lead to some upcharges with increased sense of luxury. Or you are a fragrance lover who is also a dog lover. You’re already the person who buys matching sweaters for you and your pooch. Why shouldn’t you both have a signature sandalwood fragrance?

Personally, I will not be buying this fragrance, even though I really want to smell it. I don’t have a dog, nor do I know how a dog might respond to wearing the fragrance. But what about you? Would you buy a designer fragrance for your dog? Or do you want them develop a cat version, too?
