Squirrel!

I watched the squirrel dart into the street. I knew better than to try and swerve around it as it tried to make a decision. The choice seemed obvious. Head back to the safety of the grass away from the incoming car, but here it was confused.

I wonder if that is what I look like. The powers that be looking down at me can see the choice is so obvious, yet I sit there deliberating and confused. Maybe I am overcomplicating things. Maybe there are only two good choices. Backwards or forwards. You can’t just sit there. There is a danger in just sitting there. You have to make a choice.

Do you want progress? Then run towards it. Do you want safety? Then return, retreat. Make the choice based on what you need right now. Pick a direction and go quickly.
