I went without. I knew the sale was coming up, so I figured I might as well wait. Why buy it now when it would be cheaper later? I come back to that decision and reassess. Why are you putting off what it is good for you now, what you need now, for a so-called better time? Why are you making unnecessary sacrifices and delaying what you know is the right decision?
Of course, this goes beyond shopping and spreads over all of my life. There are certainly more examples where I put off making the best choice because I was worried about finding the best time to do it. Sometimes, right now is the best time. There could, potentially, possibly be better times in the future, but there is no guarantee. All you have is now, not later. There may be a higher cost now in terms of sacrifices and effort, but if you really want it, is it not worth the cost?
