Ask yourself just how much you really love Pop Tarts

Maybe, Pop Tarts hold a nostalgic place in your heart as the breakfast you held in your hand as you rushed out the door to make it to the school bus. Or maybe it’s the go-to snack you get from vending machines. Or maybe just maybe it is just pure sugar enough for you eat pre-workout. With all the ways that Pop Tarts fit into your life, have you considered adding it to your bath routine?

If you thought your life was not complete yet because you couldn’t smell like your favorite toaster pastry, you will be elated to discover Pop Tarts have collaborated with INC.redible to produce body wash sets. Unfortunately, they already sold out from the Walmart website. (But if you are based in the UK, you can get a full range of Kellog’s body washes from Bubble T Cosmetics.) If I were able to get my hands on this, the sets would have cost $6 and include scents like frosted vanilla and frosted strawberry.

Okay, so a vanilla and strawberry scented body wash is not all that unique. And even though the bath bomb shaped like a Pop Tart in a toaster is adorable, this is clearly a gimmick. So maybe instead you could wear your love with a crunchy jacket. (They call it crunchy. I think it actually makes noise.) The jackets, each jacket costing $120, were made in partnership with Andrew Burgess of Vivid Visions. Those will have a second limited release drop on October 18. Until then, you can peruse the rest of the merch available on their online shop.

But why? Why body wash, and why jackets? The jackets are timed to go along with the debut of the crunchy poppers version of Pop Tarts. And the bath sets were released around the same time many holiday sets came out. But that is still not a satisfying answer. What is Pop Tarts really doing? What is their ultimate strategy?
