I should do this

I had the opportunity this weekend to lead a workshop. I put people in groups, I facilitated conversations, I felt like myself again. I knew I enjoyed doing that, but I hadn’t had the chance to do it in so long.

In the book, Designing Your Life, the authors talk about paying attention to the activities in your job or personal life that invigorate you. They are aspects that make you enjoy what you do, even if it is just a little bit of your whole day. And then from there, you should take what you learn and use that to develop your dream life.

I need to take more moments to figure out what it is that I truly want to do and how I want to spend my time. Of course, you are witness to me finding a way to get more writing in my life, but there are so many other things that I haven’t tapped into yet.

What is it that I truly want to do? What are the tasks I want to see fill my to-do lists day in and day out? And how do I get to that life?
