Taco Bell is giving its rewards the members the opportunity to taste early retirement. The brand is hosting members at The Cantinas, their weekend pop-up at a San Diego resort.

Modeled after an active living senior community, the gives the adults in their 20s and 30s a taste of retirement lifestyle. More specifically on their website, they call it “a chance [for members] to embrace and fuel youth culture’s slow living, senior-at-heart lifestyle.”
This event allows Taco Bell to tap into key trends among Millennials and gen Z and tie that into an experience. Among this is the FIRE movement, which has early retirement as a goal. It also provides Taco Bell a way to tap into trend towards more in-person experiences in a way that differs from their in-store experience. And of course there is the promotion of the rewards program and all of the social media capture that will come out of this.
I will admit, that I have noticed more and more creators and influencers doing paid content for Taco Bell. The Cantinas certainly tie into this push for Gen Z and Millenial attention. But I have to know, would you pay to state at a Taco Bell resort?
