It is unfair really. It came across my inbox, in conversations, and in the news that there was a Microsoft outage. When in reality, Microsoft was affected just like everyone else by the Crowdstrike glitch. They didn’t cause the problem, but it was definitely on their backs to figure out a way around it.

When working on your PR, it is not just about what you might or might not do wrong. It is about public perception of what you have done. And from there, it is how about how you will choose to respond. How will you address fears and instill confidence? What actions will you choose to take? How will you take control of the situation, even when it was not really in your control?
What did you think about the Microsoft responses on this? What would you have done differently?
