A spider had overnight spun a massive web, almost taking over the doorway. I took a stick and removed the web, instead getting trapped in there myself. The next morning, I exited to see the spider had returned to spin the web yet again.

There is this peculiar thing I’ve noticed when I clean a spider web in my home. It always seems to return. It’s as if the spiders are unapologetically set on the task of rebuilding They have to build to build a web, even if that means starting over from the beginning.
Meanwhile, small barriers and hiccups will sideline me. That thing that didn’t work out? I took it as a sign to quit. If it didn’t work out that one time, no need to continue to try again. I don’t act with that spiderlike determination to work towards the thing I am meant to do
I want to build my life the way that a spider builds its web. Yes, it’s tedious work with multiple obstacles and setbacks, but I need to keep building, even rebuilding when necessary.
