No need to set a fire

All ablaze, you self-combusted to keep them warm, and now they won’t even sit still to absorb the heat. You are turning in to ashes. No good to anyone, especially yourself.

You’ve bent so yourself so they wouldn’t break, and here you are now, in pieces, while they continue on with no intent to help you get back together.

You are struggling to prevent their struggle, choking to give them air. You are destroying yourself, under the guise of helping others. And it needs to stop.

Here is a fire extinguisher. Look, I have been there, too. I have broken myself down hoping that will fix things too, but that’s not how this works. When will you realize that you can’t destroy yourself to help others. Your intentions are good, but you, too, need to be cared for.

And I’m going to stop it there. Be good to yourself.

You don’t have to set yourself on fire to keep others warm.

You don’t have to set yourself on fire to keep others warm.

You don’t have to set yourself on fire to keep others warm.
