You have to stop waiting to be picked. Choose yourself. You are (likely) no longer a kid at recess just trying to get into a pickup game. You don’t need to wait on the sidelines waiting for someone to look your way and choose you. That is not how this works.
Yes, there are a lot of people who rose up the ranks after being added to a list, after someone allowed them to enter. But I can assure you plenty more built their own ladders and climbed up. Build your own ladder. It is time for me to get started making my own.
