I am writing this on Thanksgiving Day here in the states. Obviously, I have to write about what I’m thankful for. I just want to say thank you to all of you who have ever come across this blog and given it a read. And I am even more thankful that this page is experiencing very slow growth.
Let’s admit it. This blog here is not perfect. It is very simply designed because I am still figuring things out. Sometimes, the writing in the posts is not well organized, or just downright poor. I have been adamant about leaning into progress and using this space to practice consistency as I learn along the journey. Because it is so small and new, I have the freedom to make mistakes and try new things. I am thankful that I never went viral or became an overnight success. I am happy to continue to grow my skills and develop my voice as a writer without pressure.
Maybe that is the mindset I can take to the rest of my life. I can be thankful that I have time to grow as a human and not have everything I want magically appear before me. I can build the systems, habits, and supports all needed to sustain and thrive with success. I am thankful I haven’t had miraculous success. I am thankful to start small and grow slowly.
