L’Eau Rêvée d’Eliya from Sisley Paris is a subtle masterpiece

I have to admit. I cannot upon smelling it place a single not in Sisley Paris’s L’Eau Rêvée d’Eliya, but I enjoyed all of them. I am not sure what it is about this fragrance, but I want more of it. I got a sample at Nordstrom and have been playing with it.

Sisley Paris L’Eau Rêvée d’Eliya

$195 or 100mL

Notes:

Top: Bergamot, Lemon, Exotic Flowers

Middle: Violet Leaf, Tuberose, Jasmine

Base: Cedarwood, Amber, Patchouli

Scratch that. I have been spritzing it on my wrists and then fighting hard to avoid spraying it over my entire body. As much as I enjoy the smell, I can’t imagine, that others would want to meet my cloud of perfume before the meet me. And because I really liked the scent, I kept respraying myself. I have no idea then how long it lasts. But because I got no complaints, I assume the projection is moderate to low.

There is not a situation where I don’t want to wear this fragrance. It is soft, but not too soft, alluring but not sultry. And I think I am falling in love with the scent of tuberose.  But perhaps, if I were to choose when not to wear it, I would say high heat environments. But even then, I might risk it. I am adding this to the list of fragrances I want a full bottle of.

If you are looking for a floral scent that is different from those you’ve tried before, give this one a sniff.
