I am now convinced

I am fairly certain that the affliction that you are not good enough is only experienced by those who most certainly are. And that those who believe they are of no use are those who bring the most value. Those who fear they are most unloveable are already loved deeply. Those who believe their life is meaningless have many people in awe of what they add to the world.

I am now convinced that the biggest lies we believe about ourselves mask our greatest values. It is a ploy to trick you into not bringing your best asset into the world. It is a ploy to get you to hold back and hold off from moving into your purpose.

You might want to push back and say first, “No, really this thing is true for me. It isn’t a lie.” I am going to ask you right now, “How do you know that, for sure?” What evidence do you have to support that? Where are your exhibits A through Z? Because I am sure I can come to you with a lot of counter arguments.

The next time you are faced with one of those bold statements masquerading as truth, recognize it for what it is. It is an attack to weaken your confidence, and I beg you to fight back instead of admitting defeat.
