When I started getting into skincare, that to me meant focusing on my face. Every product I bought was geared to all of the issues that occur there, that bit that is how I am known by the world. But recently I have been thinking that my skin is not just my face.
Your skin is your largest body organ. Actually, it is part of it: the integumentary system. This body system is more specifically composed of your skin, nails, hair, and glands. It covers you from head to toe. Literally. While I have been neglectful in focusing on the entire system, I have not fully been taking care of myself. That needs to change.
I am fully aware that stores differentiate between body care, hair care, and nail care, and leave skincare as just about facial products. I, however, am committing to take care of the entire system. And that means thinking more about the best way to care for all of it. I am going to be looking in to greater range of products, techniques, and remedies. As the year progresses, you might notice me expanding the content I choose to cover. I am excited to not only try more things but take better care of myself more holistically. Thank you for joining me along my journey.
