Two luxury skincare products my dry skin is begging me to try more of

Have I told you how much I like samples? Yes, free stuff is my love language, but I also just like the chance to try a whole host of new things without having to make a commitment. I was pleased to get two samples in my orders that I would have never tried otherwise. And now I can’t wait to try them full sized (even though my bank account is begging me to reconsider).

First up is the Sisley Paris Black Rose Skin Infusion Cream.

I had two foil packets and I miserly made sure I got every last bit of the beautiful pink cream out of there. As you might imagine, it has a rose scent. Not overpowering, but certainly present. The more important piece is that it moisturized my skin and left it supple and plumped. And you may have noticed a theme of me complaining about things irritated the skin of my face where I wear my mask. Well, this guy didn’t irritate them at all. I only got a few days of use, but I am intrigued. I nearly made the decision to get the full set through the Nordstrom anniversary sale (including the eye treatment and mask), but I was trying to be more fiscally responsible. I kind of regret being responsible. (Gasp! It’s still available! It wasn’t a sale exclusive! What do I do?)

And then we have Guerlain’s Youth Watery Oil. I can’t really describe why I liked it exactly, but yes, just yes. I worked through a deluxe sample, and my skin just looked amazing. Remember, I have very dry skin, but this thin magical liquid worked wonders. I just was putting overtop of other moisturizers that I wasn’t too happy with. It was moisturizing, not at all oily. My skin liked it. It makes me want to try the rest of Abeille Royale line from Guerlain.

I am pretty sure this is the point of samples, to get you try things and hopefully make a larger purchase. Well, they got me. I haven’t purchased anything from these two brands, but they definitely have me looking at them now.
