A Wren Says

It was only a sample packet. Just a taste of what the holi (glow) ageless eye and lip serum from Agent Nateur could do for my eyes. With just that little taste, I’m intrigued. I was only able to use this product for a few days, so this will only be a first impressions post. Here’s what I noticed.

My under-eyes looked better

Maybe I was just convincing myself of this, but I am certain my under-eyes looked better when I woke up the next morning. Is it possible that I just slept well? Yes. But is it also possible that this was effective at hydrating my skin? Also yes, plus Agent Nateur has included pearl powder which they say adds a soft-focus glow. Maybe that was part of why I liked the way I looked while using this.

As a note, I don’t think this worked well with my concealer, but that might be on me for applying a lot. If you do choose to use this under makeup, be mindful that you use a smaller amount or  ensure that it is absorbed into your skin before proceeding.

It smells herbal

This smells like a natural product, in that it smells like  there are some essential oils in the mix. When I looked at the ingredient list, I only noticed some flower extracts (jasmine, calendula, chamomile) that might be leading to the smell. But if you don’t like or are sensitive to fragrances, this may not be for you.

It is an oil.

Yes, they call it a serum, but it’s mostly oils. Because of that, it is thinner and spreads easily. I learned the hard way that I shouldn’t apply it to the entire eye area, especially during the day. I found it starting to make my eyes burn as I started to heat up throughout the day, and it ran into my eyes.

Would I use this product again? Yes. I can see myself investing in a full bottle to see what my results would be over time.
