A Wren Says

This feels like round 2. Yesterday I wrote about the Delica Drench scent, Cheirosa 59, from Sol de Janeiro. I’m starting to really like the scent. Bonus, that is the fragrance for the Delcia Drench Body Butter. If you have read my previous Sol de Janeiro reviews, you might know that I was disappointed with the Bum Bum Cream. It smells great, but left my skin wanting. In other words, after a nice few minutes my skin would be dry again. I was hoping there might be a moisturizer from the brand that works better for dry skin. I think I’ve found it

The Delcia Drench Body Butter is thicker and heavier and definitely has more oils. It is a much better match for my dry skin. Truth be told, I might need to get a full size product to really test it as the winter goes on, but I already know and feel that it’s better for me than the Bum Bum Cream. That said, I’m still looking for a little more. They just released the Dewy Cream which might give me even more hydration. If I let myself make a purchase, that will be next on my list.

Even though these are working better for me, I wish the brand provided the different formulas in each of their fragrances. That way you weren’t stuck with a particular fragrance just because you have a particular skin type. Maybe that’s something they’ll do in future.
