Check out the Boston Seaport district

If you are going to stay at the Omni Hotel Boston at the Seaport, chances are that you will want to visit the Seaport. If that wasn’t your plan before, you should make it so. Staying at this hotel places you walking distance from an array of shops, restaurants, attractions. Here are few that I recommend

Cardullo’s: Stop in here for snacks and treats. There is a whole wall of gourmet chocolate bars that took up far too much and yet not enough of my time.

Porter Square Books: Because real paper books beat e-readers. Come here to find a page-turner for your vacation read

Flour Bakery: Pop in for a hot chocolate or a very intentionally made sandwich.

Event calendar: This is just a suggestion that you should check the events calendar ahead of time. There may be a pop-up or activation in the area that’s a must-see for you. I popped in to a Love and Lemons pop-up while I was there.

There are, of course, many more shops at the Seaport for you to explore. You might find an old favorite you want to peruse or pop into find a new favorite.

If you walk just a little bit further you can walk to the site of the Boston Tea Party and the museum that’s now on site.
