More things at the Omni Seaport

Yesterday, I wrote up a quick review of my room at the Omni Boston Hotel at Seaport. Today, I want to focus on some of the other amenities I enjoyed.

First, let’s take a moment for the art. Art in hotels is not novel, but this was a particular take that spoke to me. Shoes:

I don’t know if this is a permanent exhibit or was a specific to the time. However, it was an homage to not just shoes, but American mad shoes, with a specific focus on those from the northeast.

If you have a desire to get a workout in while you’re in town, the gym is pretty stacked with cardio machines. If you hope to do a strength workout, there are also some free weights and cable machine. I also liked that the stretching and abs section was a different room off to the side. That gave me much more space, instead of trying to wiggle a mat in between machines, like I’ve had to do in some places.

So there you have it, just a little art and a little fitness. Tomorrow, I will do a write up on the restaurants I experienced, so stay tuned.
