I am slowly increasing my beauty routine, but for right now, I have two staples: sunscreen and brows.
I rotate through multiple sunscreens with all the reviewing that I do, but the one I keep returning to is the UV Protective Cream from Cle de Peau. Is it expensive? Yes it is. But is it worth it? Oh yeah, especially as we head towards drier wintry months. It is hydrating and dewy and doesn’t run into my eyes, even on hot sweltering days or during workouts. (Cyber Week is a great time to stock up on this staple at various retailers.)
Now for brows. I still haven’t found a favorite, but right now I’m enjoying the Merit Brow 1980. It isn’t a brow gel that will keep my hairs in place. But with the tint, I find that I am able to groom my eyebrows, helping me look like I tried to put myself together, even just a little bit. I’m still on the hunt for a brow gel that will secure my hairs in-between adjusting layers to deal with temperature fluctuations and clothing try-ons. I haven’t found a gel that doesn’t flake, irritate my skin, or cause my hair to instant curl up and look more unruly.
