The perfect fragrance for lazy mornings

I just wanted to stay in bed all day. The perfect fragrance was of course Lazy Sunday Morning by Maison Margiela Replica. It is a clean scent, calling to mind the freshly washed sheets that I couldn’t seem to remove myself from. It’s aldehydic, laundry, floral, soft, and gentle.

Lazy Sunday Morning eau de toilette

$170 for 100 mL

Notes:

Top: Pear, lily of the valley, aldehydes

Heart: Iris, rose, orange flower

Base: Indonesian patchouli, ambrette seed, white musks

Though it’s cozy enough for a morning in, I would also wear this fragrance out and about. I could see this being the signature scent for someone who is laidback but put-together. It’s something that indicates you’re pretty chill, comfortable to be around, and more importantly, that you take care of yourself.

Now, this fragrance for me calls to mind Blanche from Byredo, but it’s not as powerful on first spray. If you already have that fragrance, I don’t think you would need both. They smell slightly different, but they overlap enough that it would be like having a duplicate in your collection. However, I’m starting to lean towards this one more as my favorite of the two.

If you are on the hunt fragrances that are clean and fresh, you should definitely look into Lazy Sunday Morning.
