Hear me out. I know you’re going for all the limited edition, always on your wish list items for this season’s Sephora Savings Event. But let’s get practical: How about some deodorant. I know, I know, it’s not fun. But you need it anyway why not save on it, especially if you have move towards newer non-traditional deodorant formulas? Can I suggest you use this time to stock up on the Kosas Chemistry Deodorant?
I made the switch to aluminum-free deodorants a few years ago now. The biggest push for me was to stop the staining on my beloved white shirts. You know that dingy yellow discoloration under your pits, that doesn’t come out no matter how hard you try? It’s a result of your sweat mixing with the ingredients in your deodorant. I had had enough of that. The problem is that many aluminum-free deodorants use ingredients that irritated my skin. I finally found the Kosas deodorant and haven’t looked back.

A big sale for me is that it doesn’t include baking soda or arrowroot, which I’m pretty sure is what led to my reactions from before. Instead, it uses combination of AHAs. I have no idea how the science works, but the combination works for me to fight odor throughout the day.
Here’s the thing, as much as I like it, there are some cons. The product is a liquid, which means I find I need to roll it on and then wait for it to dry to avoid transferring it my shirt. I haven’t noticed it staining any fabrics, but it can’t do its job if it’s of my skin. And if you are on an all-weekend festival schedule, don’t expect it to keep up to maintain the odor protection long into the next day. You’re going to have to shower and reapply. Sorry to mess up your plans.
I personally have found this product to be the deodorant solution that I have been looking for. I have it added to my cart stock up. But, I’m always on the hunt for new products to try. What are you loving right now that you’d recommend?
