Sephora’s sale starts tomorrow. This is my semi-annual reminder that you do not have to engage in sale. Especially as the economy is starting to slow, really think about how you’ll use your money. But I have to admit that this time, I’m going to buy something myself.

I have had items waiting in my cart for this moment. Slowly, I had been adding items that I wanted to get. But instead of getting it all, I’ve culled the list. I don’t have to get it all right now. I don’t have to stockpile on my favorites right now. I’m reminding myself, as I get more and more anxious that I should be adding more to my cart, that there will be more sales.

There will be more discounts to come. If you aren’t at the Rouge level, there is likely a 20% discount coming for everyone in December. There will be a set number of dollars off on a set spending level. There will be bigger and better gifts with purchases. And there will be better prices on the individual brand sites as we get closer to Black Friday and Christmas.

The savings event is tempting. It’s a good deal for products you were already planning to buy, but it is not the only deal that there will ever be. Adjust your cart accordingly.
