I am one of the grinches who grumbles at each airing of a Christmas themed ad before November. And yet, I’ve got advent calendars on my mind. In particular, I am especially moved by the offering by Dandelion Chocolates.
The San Francisco based chocolatiers have put together a beautiful offering based on the solar system. What’s more is that their chocolates actually taste good. Or so I believe based on the other treats I had from them when in their hometown.
While the current advent calendar as it’s marketed to us has deviated from the original traditions, it is still a practice that I look forward to each year. I haven’t decided to pre-order a package for myself yet, but I’m certainly tempted to make this selection my special treat for this year.
