My alarm went off at 5 AM to get ready for a busy day. Unfortunately, I hadn’t even tried to get to bed until 1 AM, as I was still working out details and full of nervous energy. Despite how tired I was, I didn’t want to look it. I needed all the help I could get for a day filled with pictures and speaking on stage. It was time to break out The Eye Patches from Christian Dior.

The brand claims the product has these benefits:
- Eye area 40.1°F cooler
- Skin is 2x more hydrated
- Eyes more awake and brightened and prepped for makeup
I popped the eye patches out of the package and onto my face. I was shocked by how cool they felt on my skin, given how warm the rest of my home was. What wizardy was this? Once they were smoothed into place, I decided to use the 10 minutes they’d be on to get some more tasks done. As I ironed my shirt, I noticed one patch starting to slide down my face. It didn’t get too far, but it was certainly not ideal. Maybe these were meant for a more leisurely at-home spa session.
When the time was up, I went to remove them. I noticed that skin under my eyes was remarkably more hydrated in appearance than rest of my face. I didn’t look as tired any more, but that could very well be because I had been running around.
You know what, even though the only thing these do is hydrate, I really like them. Is it because I am obsessed with luxury beauty? Perhaps, but they did what they told me they did. Because of how cooling they were, I am curious how they might serve as a great skincare treat after a day in the summer sun. I will very likely repurchase.

Also I noticed they write it this way on the site, “The first Dior Eye Patches.” Perhaps there are more versions to come. And hopefully, Dior will make a full face sheet mask that I can review in the future as well.
If you are looking for eye patches that really hydrate and want a luxury touch, definitely try The Eye Patches from Christian Dior.
