Imagine this: Your dog, the one whose cuteness overload has compromised your iCloud storage, gracing the cover of Vogue. It is a very real possibility, that maybe you should look into.
Vogue has announced their Dogue competition. Instead of sending pictures to all your friends, you could submit your pooch’s pics to Vogue instead for the chance to win a digital cover. As part of the contest, your submission would be judged by a panel, with the cover winner being revealed on August 19. Entry requires you download and use the Vogue app.
I would love to know the genesis of the idea. What office banter led to this being made a reality? Was it an inside joke with the pet owners at Conde Nast? Is this a savvy business deal to lure dog lovers to the site? I don’t really know. I just am looking forward to admiring the winner.
