Aqua Media Cologne Forte from Maison Francis Kurkdijan is what I imagine the perfect man would smell like smells proper, clean, a bit like being hit by the ocean breeze. There is leisure, a bit of calm collectedness in this fragrance. Yes, there is something deeply, powerfully, yet gently masculine, but I certainly don’t mind wearing this myself.
I wouldn’t say it smells quite like fresh laundry, but I would put it in that family of fragrances This is a “clean” scent, for when I want to be and look like someone who’s got it all together. Luckily it has the staying power and projection to make me feel that way all day long.

Top notes: Verbena accord, bergamot
Middle notes: Sweet fennel, hedione
Base notes: Woody musks
The only issue that I had was a bit of skin irritation. Upon trying this the first time after a day in the sun and post shower scrub, I sprayed the scent on the crux of my elbows. And then it started to burn. However, on subsequent trials, when my skin wasn’t freshly exfoliated and sun sore, I was fine.
I would recommend this scent for anyone looking for a clean fresh scent and isn’t afraid of shelling out a pretty penny for it. But of course, try to find this in-store and smell it for yourself first.
