Here are my thoughts after round two of the Skin Infusion

After using the Augustinus Bader Skin Infusion for the first time last year, I decided it was time for another round. Why? My skin was, bleh. Not a technical term of course, but I found my skin being reactive and sensitive. From my first experience, I knew this would be the product to help with that issue given my experience the first time around. Here is what I experience on round two.

  1. My skin was

This time I made sure to some of the cream on the décolleté as well. I noticed that fragrance did

  1. My fragrance didn’t irritate by skin.

This time around, I was sure to use the product on my neck and decollote as well. After completing the “bootcamp,” I noticed I didn’t get the stinging sensation when I sprayed fragrance on my chest. I guess my skin became more resilient and less irritated.

  • Texture did not improve.

I am in a phase of my skin journey where my skin looks like it has rough texture. The product didn’t fix that for me. It looked better because it wasn’t red and splotchy, but it didn’t become like a baby’s bottom, by any means.

  • I like it better in the winter

I remember when I learned about the product, that they recommended those in hot and humid climates could use it as a lightweight moisturizer. Trying it again while it was hot outside and humid, I would say that would have been overkill to put moisturizer on top. However, I also feel like it is still too oily for me to like it in the summer. I would much prefer to use it when I need extra moisture, aka in the winter or at least fall.

For me, I think I will do this again as another skin reset in the winter. I like, that even though it doesn’t change how my skin looks, it makes my skin feel and behave better. That in turn makes my skincare routine more enjoyable and effective.

If you are feeling like your skin is getting more reactive and want to find a way make it more resilient, look in to the Augustinus Bader Skin Infusion.
