It’s here. As a self proclaimed kid at heart and sneaker lover, it’s here. The LEGO x Nike collab. The two powerhouse companies have come together to create sneaker inspired build sets. This first drop will feature a white and blue Dunk with the basketball on logos to complete the work of art.

If you are already a sneaker lover who already puts your shoes on display, this makes a ton of sense. If you are constructing the optimal Zoom background that demonstrates your sporty and fun vibe, this makes perfect sense to go on your shelf. And if perhaps you are just interested in the specialized pieces that will come and are excited by how you might deconstruct and reconstruct it using your imagination, this is is for you, too.

Over the years, LEGO has released more and more art centered build sets, in addition to the play focused sets marketed towards children. This set falls into that new direction. It demonstrates a specific focus and direction that the brand is taking to keep their users across the age span. And that certainly makes me what to do a deeper dive into their strategy.
