I sprayed on Chanel Chance eau vive before heading out the house for a grand opening event. I felt it was important that I be in the room, but I dreaded it. So many people, so many I don’t know, so much anxiety bubbling up. I made my way through the crowd to an open corner to just breathe. “Let good come from this.”
And then a fortuitous conversation where I could provide just the insight she was looking for, and I perhaps found a new supporter. What are the odds? Well, I took a chance in showing up.

Chance eau vive
$116 for 1.7 oz
Notes:
Grapefruit, blood orange, jasmine, cedar, iris
I don’t think Chanel formulated this citrusy, fresh scent to boost your good fortune, nor can I say it helped me in this situation. It did help me smell more inviting and playful, even as my anxiety was pushing me to become standoffish and cold.
This on me, doesn’t have much staying power. I don’t think it really projects either. Because it is citrusy and fresh, it feels like an acceptable option for me heading into the office of jut out for the day running errands. If you are interested in citrusy scents, give Chance Eau Vive a try for yourself.
