Are you reading the instructions?

This won’t be a full-on product review here, but I do want to point out something. Maybe you should read instructions. I think back to my seeming hatred for the Laneige lip mask. Everyone it seems everywhere uses it as a lip balm. So, I followed suit, and I hated it. It seemed like it was making my lips flakier with use. But, when I used it at night, and then followed it with exfoliating my lips in the morning. it worked so much better for me. All because I was using it as intended to get the result they intended- an overnight exfoliating treatment.

There are products that when used incorrectly will give you poor results. There are products that take a learning curve. There are products that need to be used at specific times of the day or at certain points in your routine. All of that information is contained in the instructions. Brands go through the effort of including those little slips of paper in the box or the fine print on the side of the bottle. It’s there for a reason.

Even if you think you know how it should work, take advantage of expert advice to get the most optimal results you can. Multiple brands even have chat services and consultations so you can speak to a product expert. Or at the very least, you can take a quiz to get a better idea if products fit your specific needs.

When it comes to trying new products, do you know what you’re doing? Did you read the instructions? Did you follow them? You may say the product doesn’t work, but did you work it?
