I had high hopes for the Honey Halo Hydrating Ceramide Face Moisturizer from Farmacy. But alas, it has disappointed me just like others.

My skin seemed to absorb the product. When I went to recheck the website, the model’s skin looks dewy. My skin, after a few minutes looked matte. It makes me wonder if maybe I was doing something wrong. So I went back, after making sure it was in fact for dry skin, I reapplied it. And then I was left with a matte finish. It was never uncomfortable. There were no really any obvious dry spots, but there are some spots of dryness, that are obvious to me in the mirror as I move my face around. The big problem with that is that the lack of moisture left me with a poor base for makeup. Those slight dry patches I don’t notice with bare skin are highlighted with a little foundation.

I am not entirely sure why this didn’t work for me. Maybe it could be my dry skin savior in the summer time. But for this winter, I will pass.
