What if you knew what you would look like in 20 years? What if you had a tool that told you exactly how your skin would age? What would that change for you?

At CES 2025, L’Oreal debuted an innovation that could tell you precisely that information.
It is called Cell BioPrint.
It is a device that in just minutes analyzes your skin looking for patterns associated with skin aging. By using face tape, they are able to test the skin for certain biomarkers. The tape goes into a solution and gets analyzed, while the machine takes an image of your face. The reading is designed to tell you your “skin age”, how well it will respond to active ingredients, and what skincare concerns you are most likely to develop.
I for one would try this out, if I were given the opportunity. Unfortunately, I would have to travel to Asia first and try and figure out where they will do the pilot in late 2025. I spend so much time testing out new products, I would love see what a machine might tell me compared to my experiences trying various active ingredients.
Now if they can use the same idea and develop a device that will help you figure out the best ingredients for hair car, I would be on a flight to test that one out for sure.
